Hello!  I'm Anita Madden and I'm so happy to be on The Challenge Design Team.  I'm a wife, mom, and Meema to 2 adorable grandkids.  In addition to creating cards, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, and reading. I hope my cards inspire you to get creative!

(on a summer leave)

Hi, I'm Broni, mom to 2 beautiful daughters and Nana to 4 fantastic grandkids.  I live in South Carolina and work as an accountant during the day.  I love spending time with the kids, crafting, and frequent trips to the beach!  I began my card making career in 2006, and in 2007 was invited to join the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen design team.  I'm so happy to have been asked to play along with all these talented ladies here at The Challenge!  Thanks, Lesley!

Claire Broadwater

Hi Everyone!  I'm Claire Broadwater--a wife, mom and Grammy to 8 GRANDchildren. We have a combined family.  I have twin sons and he has a son and a daughter.  We have eight GRANDchildren. -- Four beautiful girls and four handsome boys--  Addison, Victoria, Robert, Oliver, Natalie, Luke, Maggie and Will. They keep us VERY busy!  I spent most of my adult life in different areas of Atlanta and taught Elementary School for 27 years.  My favorite age was 6 year olds because learning to read is one of the most important things in a person's life!  I love making cards and participating in challenges.  It fulfills my need to "color, cut and paste!"   I am thrilled to be a member of The Challenge Design Team and I hope that I can inspire you too!  Thank you, Lesley for this wonderful opportunity!

Kelly Lunceford

Hello everyone! I'm excited to be here! My name is Kelly Lunceford and I live in Utah with my husband and 5 children. We have been  married for 19 years and our amazing kids are Rockwell (17), Emma (13), Rowan (7), Rhys (5), and Raiden (3). I have a passion for creativity and have been a papercrafter for 20+ years. I started my papercrafting Blog "Flutter by Atomicbutterfly" in 2007 and my sewing Blog "Thimbles and Thread" followed soon after. I have been on the Dirty Dozen Design Team, the "My Timeless Template/Click Simple" Design Team for Papertrey Ink, The Saltbox Studio Design Team, the SFYTT Design Team, a Verve guest Diva, and a guest designer for Flourishes. My work has appeared in a variety of different publications as well as a handful of idea books sold in Michael's stores in the past. My design work has taken a back burner to motherhood the last few years, but I am excited to be here! I hope that I can inspire your own creativity and you will get a chance to make the things that bring joy to your life!

Hi, everyone!  I’m Lori Tecler and I’m thrilled to be a part of The Challenge.  I’m an educator by day and currently work in the elementary curriculum office of a large school district in the Washington, DC suburbs.  With a busy day job, I love to spend time crafting in the evenings for relaxation.  I’m “mom” to two sweet fur babies, a big goldendoodle named Chloe and a recently rescued mini goldendoodle named Bo.  Their antics never fail to keep me on my toes!  I’m looking forward to sharing inspiration with you as part of The Challenge Design Team!

Hi!  I'm Nancy (Nance) Salkeld.  I live in Cary, NC with my ER RN hubby, our border collie and Russian blue cat.  Hubs and I met at George Mason U, where I received a psychology degree. We've been married for 27 years. We have two grown sons, one daughter-in-law, two grandkitties and one granddog.  I chose to be a SAHM, running my own medical transcription business for ten years and even homeschooling my boys for four and five years.  I've been crafty since a kid when I took painting lessons.  I started scrapbooking in 2000.  I started cardmaking around 2006 mostly with stickers and then found stamps! <gasp> Now I'm totally obsessed!  I have an eclectic style I'd say. I love trying different techniques and sometimes I'm CAS other times, layered and detailed.  I've been on various design teams since 2013 and was thrilled when Lesley asked me to join The Challenge back in 2014.

Hi, my name is Nina Forsyth and I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. I was introduced to card making when a friend had asked me to attend a stamping workshop in 2006 and my interest has only grown. I look at each and every card as a miniature canvas. I started blogging in 2008 and if I can inspire someone to create, then I am happy. I am looking forward to creating with  The Challenge team.

Rachel Bergfeld

Hi Everyone!  I'm Vicki — a wife, mom and Mimi to 12 grandkids. I am also Puppy Mom to Holly Noelle and Reese Mackenna, my two little Yorkies.  My hubby and I have been married for almost 33 years. I started out as a scrapbooker and Creative Memories Consultant in 1997. I dabbled in cardmaking very occasionally until May of 2015. Once I started my blog, Twinkling Paper Studio, on August 1st of 2015, I was "All In". I give a lot of "how to" information on my blog so that you can try to recreate a similar project if you like. My style is Classic and Elegant and usually pretty clean as well.  I hope I can inspire you in some way when you are creating.

Power Poppy Duo

Hi Crafty Pals! I have been busily crafting this week and decided to play along with the current Power Poppy Challenges; Power & Spark "frame it up" challenge and a Colour Challenge.

I had lots of fun, colouring my digital power poppy stamps with my Copics. This first card is for their frame it challenge...I coloured their Sunflower image with my Copic markers and paired it with a Verve Sentiment.

The next card is for their new Colour Challenge! I kept my design simple and clean...something I like to do when creating cards for mailing to others. I used the Power Poppy GERBERA DAISIES DIGITAL STAMP SET

Aren't the colours so pretty together? I am always up for a Colour Challenge

I decided to colour the gerbera daisies in the fun, bright colours...I love it when florists have the blue daisies! Although my favourite gerberas are the burnt orange type!

Take Care & Sparkle {SSS Wednesday Challenge, CAS(E) this Sketch & Color Throwdown

Today I made a card for three different challenges; Simon Says Stamp {Sparkle}, CAS(E) this Sketch and the Color Throwdown. One of my cards was watercoloured and the other card, I used my Copic markers. I also inked up the Bamboo Rose stamp set again, from Altenew.

I loved the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and used my new Tim Holtz stencil to add some neutral gray to my top card. The sparkle is the shiny sequins on my card. They sparkle in the light!

MOJO Monday Cards

I have been playing along with MOJO Monday the past two weeks and here are my cards! My first card uses the pretty Verve set called Lean on Me. Love colouring the flowers in this set and the sentiments stamp so well.

Then I made a card using this week's sketch! I used the set called Bloom & Grow.  It's another favourite set of mine. I just love the flowers and the fun stamping you can do with this set. I used score lines to create the diagonal piece in the background.

The Flower Challenge and Meet "Maeley"

Hi Crafty Friends! I am back! It feels so good to get crafty once again after being off with pregnancy complications. Now that our sweet baby girl is here and my body is back to being my own again, I finally can craft. Of course, I am crafting between feedings and our new sleep schedule. LOL! It is an adjustment but worth it! Little Maeley is a doll and she is such a sweet baby. Corey and I are in love with her.

I found a new to me challenge called "The Flower Challenge".

HELLO!!!

This is one challenge I plan on playing with as much as I can because I LOVE floral stamps. This month's challenge is to CASE one of their designers...so I did! EEP! I cased the talented TaeEun and her stunning card!

I was inspired to watercolour and to create a simple, clean-lined card. Be sure to visit the challenge blog to see all the gorgeous inspiration there!

I used an Altenew set called "Bamboo Rose" that I absolutely love! I stamped the flowers in Archival ink and I did some masking to create a large focal point on one part of the card; inspired by TaeEun. Then I loosely watercoloured the flowers with my distress inks. Thank you for stopping by and for your support! I am off to craft some more. I hope you are crafting today too!
